Tech Article 10/2

Rivka Bekenstein and her toddler Halal demonstrate how the application is used. Ms. Bekenstein, a doctoral student in the Technion Faculty of Physics, came up with the idea for KidKeeper.    A student who attends the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology has created an app to inform parents about their child's whereabouts before the school bell rings. This works by the teachers uploading pictures onto a tablet that's connected to the app. By clicking on the picture shows parents the time that their child arrived and the attendance list. When the student needs to be picked up from school, the parents receive a PIN number that they have to enter into the app to show that they are authorized to pick up the child. This app is a great way to keep kids safe when they go to school.
